sheela na gig is what my art history professor did her thesis on. there isnt much written about her in the states because we are to put it bluntly prudes and freak out about stuff like this. i find her interesting. the celtics were interesting people this is one of their many peices of art. you can find sheela on churches and monestaries in france, ireland and umm... another country too. my memory sucks huh? i found a sheela na gig careful. she is scarey.

oh yeah. i want to let you all know that i am going to see the allman brothers band on monday march 19. monday. can you believe that? monday. damnit. i tried to get tickets for the weekend but that wasnt happening. there were only tickets for mondays, tuesdays, and thursdays. so i had to decide... to miss class (thursdays and tuesdays) or not. tough choice. oh by the way, i get to celebrate my 21 birthday by going to class from 4-7pm and taking a test. neato huh?
well okay last night i showed my boyfriend what his name means. some of it is true. some of it isnt. but then again thats true for anyone now isnt it? yes i think so. i added somethings to my moms webpage today. i have become the official webpage maintainer. hehe. she will do updates with blogger but i am in charge of pretty much everything else. she also sort of adds some of the other content. but its mostly me. i am just a webpage makin fool. which reminds me. alexis wants me to make him a webpage for his company. i started one. but its nothing much yet. i dont know what colors and fonts and info he wants there. i dont know yet. and i dont think i should keep it on my old frontier server. i should move it to a free hosting thing. maybe digitalrice.com and his url will be that free i85.net thing. you know... digitaldreamz.i85.net just until he gets off his ass and gets his own domain.

i am redesigning my me section. it should be done by the end of the day. and soon after that i will update the content there. but for now i am changing the colors and what not.
and oh i just looked at my page in nutscrape. i will fix it tonight when i have more time. it looks like shit.
i recieved an email from a teacher in high school. now i never had her as a teacher myself... she was a french and spanish teacher, she went on the trip to france that i took over the summer of my junior year. not many students took french and so most of my class was on the trip. anyway she is truely a wonderful person. she sends me little emails once in a while and i really liked this one so i am going to share it with you.

well my stupid stupid stupid art history book had a website all along. and to think i have been searching the internet for images to put on note cards to help me study. do you know how stupid i feel? i wasted so much time and it was all here already. grrr. i feel like such an ass.
why oh why? jason newsted is going to leave metallica. whats the deal with that? in sixth grade everyday on the bus i used to listen to metallica's 'black album' and i still love it. i know that they are still going to play and that they have lost other members, but you know... its still sad.

and i told my little sister about the phish cds that i now have, (she was at the show with me) and she said oh yeah they played that prince song (prince caspian) and that one when they yell that guys name (wilson) and my favorite one piper piper (piper). i cant belive that she remembered all those songs. the concert was in 1999. but then again that was the only show she ever went to... i have seen others since then... and dont they all just mush together into one?

i like the allman brothers band website its really well done. at least i think it is. the tickets already went on sale for the beacon run. i need to go get some tickets tonight. but my car is in the shop. maybe jonelle will bring me there. oh damn and school starts tomorrow, and i dont have a car. this is going to be fun.
they even have a count down thinger counting down the days, hours and minutes until they are at the beacon.
wow. hehe. okay yet another show.... 11-29-98 i wasnt at this one. hehe. but its still a good show. they play eric clapton's/derek and the dominos' layla. groovey baby. groovey. and i really love that show finder thing. it really works!
wow. just oh wow. okay i used the international house of zzyzx or ihoz.com to find out the dates of the shows. there is this really neat little thing on that site called the show finder and that lovely device helped me find out that one of the cds is 10-09-99 and guess what? i was there too! and its the second set. the one with my favorite song, loving cup i know its a stones song, but i love it. yummy. and thats the show were i first saw it live! woooot. i am so happy right now.
yippppie! you have no idea how happy i am right now. well... ive got some phish shows and half of them didnt have a date on them. well i figured it out! so far 3 of them are from oswego! a show that i went to! wooooot. you dont know how happy i was when i was listening to the thing and said hey... that sounds familar... oh i bet you they are gonna play smoke on the water and cat scratch fever. hehehehhe. i am a giddy little school girl.
