well good news. good news for me at least. i am going to see a Tribute to Babatunde Olatunji and you are not. well maybe you are... but you should check this out. its a snippet from the webpage. "Former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart will be performing, Goldie Hawn will be a guest speaker plus many other surprises we are still working on. " so now you really want to go huh? hehe. yoink. i love rainy days, i just wish it was warmer outside so i could sit on the porch and listen to the rain... and not freeze my ass off.
well i think it is offical i am now one card short of a full deck. er dee derrr derrrr.... art history and thats not the final version of what i just did. but i dont have time to get into that now. i must memorize dates. 1770, 1599, 1669, 1655, 1793.... ugh.
i have a test on thursday. i must study... must stay away from computer... must read... must learn... must memorize dates...
oh. i am adding a new blog that is quite yummy. its miss ellen's. nad if you have a minute go check out phunky.com they redid the layout. its nice a fresh, yet old and familiar at the same time.
well today is a rather rainy day. but thats quite alright. i am so thankful that it is not snowing. this winter has actually been a winter, never anytime for the snow to melt... usually in between snow storms the snow has a little time to melt. but then again maybe i was just imagining that... who the hell knows. i do enjoy the rain, i just wish that it wasnt so cold out. i love sitting on the porch during a thunderstorm on a breezey summer afternoon...
okay so yesterday i bought myself two dvds. first i picked up a copy of view from the vault the dead on dvd. wow okay so let me just say that was the first dvd i played on my new ps2. wow. just wow. and i also bought almost famous. now aaron told me that it was a good movie but he would never buy it. thats right. thats why I bought it and he didnt. derf. but what i would really like to get is crouching tiger hidden dragon that was so incredibly good, and i cant wait for it to come out on dvd.
for some reason i find this amusing. the antibloggies. not to mention its probably really old, but its the first time i have seen it. oh and yeah last friday i picked up my very own playstation2. couldnt help it. email me if you want to suggest a game.
Replies: ...1a couple of weekends ago my grandmother called me up and told me that i should watch some show on tv. she does this often. usually its just some dumb thing and after a minute or two i turn off the television and go back to what i was doing... but this time i kept the tv on. she had said that there was something about the grateful dead on the show and that i might like it. i did hear the host of the show mention bob weir from the grateful dead supporting something. i wasnt too sure about what the hell he was supporting so i continued to watch. of course this was the last story on the damn show, kristin laurite was traveling in her vw bus with her two dogs. she had no other compainions. she stopped at a rest area to let her bus cool down. she called her mother and told her what she was doing. that day she was murdered at that rest area. she has a website now that you should go check out. they are still looking for her killer...
Thanks for the link to the Anti-Bloggies!

umm... uh... just a bit groggy still, i didnt get home until about 4am... but i know i had a good time at the show. oh and while i still remember i saw two urls that i didnt want to forget... hittinthenote.com and zaro.com i should prolly go see what these are, huh? all i remember is saying to myself i will never remember those addresses. but it looks like i did.
i am just cracking myself up right now, i just went to those two links. one was on the screen at the show, and the zaro one is the bakery in grand central station. i remember looking in the window wanting some cheese cake, but it was 12:30am and they were closed...
i cant believe it, yesterday was beautiful, and today seems like its going to be the same. tonight i am going to see the allman brothers woot. and i am doing a bit of spring cleaning all this week because i am on spring break. rock on. oh by the way... if i talked to you on aim at all you need to re-send me your nick. i dont have my buddy list anymore. yoink.

well i added two more weblogs to my daily reads. i dont know why they werent on there before because i go to them a lot. derf. sometimes i am just a dork. no new news from the gathering of the vibes yet, i am getting very impatient. but thats okay i guess. i went to phish.com today. its been a while since i have been there. they added two new sections. memories of marley (treys dog died :( thats sad.) and mike added a little section called end of tour words and photos by mike. so if you want to go check them out.
in my high school photography class i had to write a paper. isnt that nuts? in fact we didnt start messing with taking pictures for over a month. he made us learn the history of photography first. definitions. dates. history. but now i thank him for that. ha. i even thank him for making us make our own little cameras. we had to find a light tight container and paint it matt black on the inside and then we took a can and cut it up and took a pin and put a hole in that. we made a pin hole camera. and it worked too. all we needed to do was put a piece of photo paper in it and go expose it by opening the hole. we closed it took it in the dark room and oh i forget i think we developed it first and then put it in this thing that inverted the colors because it was backwards, okay i will shut the hell up and tell you the point of this post. eadweard muybridge is the guy that i wrote my paper on, (link compliments of johns footprints.)
i almost pissed my pants when i saw this hot chick with a nice pussy. link compliments of brooklynkid.com. and would you like to read about the evils of tea and the virtues of beer?
hot damn. sheeleys car wash. that just is funny to me, only because i used to make lunch and breakfast for both of those guys when i worked at that shithole that they like to eat at. (now i know its not a shithole, but the owner was an asshole to me and i refuse ever go there again.) and you know what else is funny.... www.wallkillweb.com i could do all of that shit, but no they are... hmmmm.... i need to think about the shit in my life dont i?
ibm won the playstation 3 contract. (link compliments of sugaree.net) i thought you should all know that. you cant even get a playstation 2 anywhere yet and ibm is gonna start fucking around with a playstation 3. i am getting so annoyed with this shit... i am thinking about keeping playstation 1 and just buying myself a dvd player. i will wait until there is a playstation 9 and it will make me my martini and bring me my slippers.
yes once again i will be going to the met. i really should go way more than i do. but its hard to get people that want to go with me. i am going to be dragging eric to the museum with me tommorrow. but he will have fun, even if he doesnt think so. besides sammy might be going with us too. he wants us to see a painting of joan of arc. i think that they would both have a good time. my professor is awesome and she will be giving us the tour. when i get back i will be adding links to the things that i saw at the met that i love. mmm. i just love art.
MASTERMIND (Submissive Introvert Abstract Thinker ) Like just 9% of the population you are a MASTERMIND (SIAT). You can be silent and withdrawn, but behind your reserved exterior lies an active mind that allows you to analyze situations and come up with creative, unexpected solutions. Normal people call this "scheming." Don't learn German.
Anyway, your sense of style and originality are your strengths, and people will respect your judgment once they get to know you. If you learn to be a little more personable, you could be a great leader--you've definitely got the "vision" thing down. Just make sure all the plotting you do behind those eyes of yours is heal
not to bad... but now i am off to work on digital dreamz
on another note you all should check out the songs of the century this link is compliments of renee. i just had to share the link with you since i am a music freak.
back to all that shit about the paper. i finished my paper on marc chagall's stained glass windows 20 minutes before my class started. but the bad news is that it takes me about a half an hour to get to class... you see the problem? so i broke the speed limit a little more than i normally do... i made it to class. and to make a hectic night even better i got my test back and got a fucking 101. isnt that just wonderful. i almost shit my pants.
so okay i finally figured out what happened to renee. she is currently at girlsetsfire.com no more mellifluous.org. it only took me a few days to figure that one out. now i am off to write my freaking paper on chagall.
i just realized that i never posted the answers for candy name it. heh. whoops. so if anyone really wants to know them just let me know... i will post them soon.
i am having some sort of crazy flashback to my childhood. all they need to add is some gi-joes and transformers. and maybe a super mario... i played with "boys" toys too. how can you leave them out? then that would be my childhood in a nutshell...
well a friend of mine, chris sent me a photo of the cast of a new movie... it looks like the old gang will be solving mysteries once again. i didnt look for the website to get more info... they look silly enough. not to mention i need to write a paper on marc chagalls stained glass windows by thursday and finish lex's webpage by friday. so at the moment i am over whelmed with work to do...
i really want to do a new layout for my artwork section. i would also like to scan in some of my new work. a lot of it is photography. i also have some pieces that i like from a color class that i took. that was a lot of tedious work. but i did learn a lot about the affects that colors have on each other and how you can change colors by setting them next to other colors. blah blah blah i am rambling again.
right now i am filling out my application for new paltz but art history as a major? work as a teacher, in museums, what else can i do? i dont know... i do love the subject and for now i am sticking with it... but i want to also think about website design. its a passion of mine with all the codes and what not. and now that i have gotten something to work in my cgi-bin i am more excited than ever. i want to try new things. are there classes for stuff like that? there should be no? the class that i took at occc was boring. i already had figured out everything one my own. so in that class all i did was check email and surf the net. but i must admit that it was an easy A. so... i dont know what to do. maybe make and sell clothes online and become a webpage designer at the same time. i dont know... i am still young i guess i can figure that out later... i am getting so restless... maybe its the cold weather.
