back
I heard about it today before I went to work. Rest In Peace George Harrison.
hot tuna anyone?
last night eric and i went to see a show with james, a friend of ours. it was a wonderful show. spectacular. and what made it even better was the free tickets. oh but wait. its even more stupendous. as we were sitting in our seats james's girlfriend (who works there) pops into the picture and gives us two front row tickets. so not only did we get in the show free, but we got in free twice! hot tuna rocked. and the place that they played was just a sweet. the bardavon is one awesome place to play a concert. and let me tell you they serve you bottles of beer. and the bath rooms are the cleanest i have ever seen. of course no drinking in the theartre and no smoking in the whole building. i am sure thats why it was so incredibly nice in that place. and afterwards we went to a great little bar/restraunt and i had the yummiest salad. it was topped with grilled cajun chicken and a creamy garlic dressing. and i tried eric's burger. that was great as well. all in all we had a wonderful night...

i will definitely try it. i was disappointed there was no banana in it though. i totally assumed some banana action with something called monkey bread. :-)

hey addie...happy one year to you and eric. brendan and i first got together on the 17th too. it must be a magical day or something.

addie~ go see b.b.! a few years ago in indianapolis, in, where i was living, they had a jazz and blues fest. guests included b.b. king, isaac hayes, branford, susan tedeschi, and the robert cray band. not a bad line-up for the fest's first year. b.b. was the final show for me after two days and he was magical. you just have to hear him work the crowd. he's old and sits and tells you he earned that right. the music is powerful and good for a romantic interlude, so take your boyfriend! i sure hope you go!

my mom makes that monkey bread stuff!! it's soooooooo good. i've always wanted to make it myself but i know i'd eat the whole thing in no time because it really is that good. however between all the biscuits and the stick of butter i'd probably clog a few arteries, so i stay away from it unless i'm at mom's where i can't eat it all!

a new layout already?
yeah did you guess i am bored with brown already. but the new layout wont be ready anytime soon. and i hope that it will be something that i want to keep for a while. oh by the way i forget to mention that i saw shrek. and its the most cutest more adorablest most wonderfulest movie ever. well maybe not that extreme, but it certainly was good. i enjoyed it. and so did eric. i cant believe that it took us that long to go see it. and let me tell you that i want to go see harry potter in the theater. maybe i should borrow the book from my sister and read it before we go see it... hmmm...

a new entry.
can you tell that i have no idea what to name this entry? now i know that this link will be extremely cheesey. and to tell you the truth i found it via someone else's weblog, but i dont remember which. to credit goes to someone other than me... shitbegone.com.
this week my paper is on Matisse yet again. he is one of those artists that lasted forever and half. going through each style in his lifetime. and this and this is the piece that i wrote about this week. its strange. thats the same work of art. just different reproductions. with different colors... now i wonder which is correct, because my text book even has something a little different.
and no last night i did not watch absolutely fabulous i taped it, so i will watch it either today or tommorow. we watched wreastling, well sort of, i fell asleep. and i know i was bugging eric because he kept waking me up so i wouldnt snore so loud. if there were no cats in this house i dont think i would be snoring. in fact i remember a while ago my mother woke me up one night to check to see if i was breathing. snoring my ass. oh did i ever mention about the time eric woke me up one night laughing so hard he was shaking the bed? he wouldnt tell me what was so funny, "ill tell you in the morning, addie" and he finally did the next day when we got home from work... he taped me snoring. he just loved it. he was cracking up while he was playing it back for me.
oh yeah by the way...
today at work i was told about the plane crash: 255 People Said to Be Aboard; No Survivors Found. it was so oh by the way-ish. this is all just horrible.
monkey bread
now this stuff is yummy. but of course this recipie is not exact, making it more fun... do as follows:
wow...
hey john that really is an awesome site for lenny. and you know what else, this is a really fun simpsons site! hey did you all like the way i stole that link... it was on the d.l. or down low if you will. maybe i should shut up. i sound like a geek.
noah wants peace.
this morning eric and i for some reason got into a little battle. i tapped his arm, he tapped mine. i slapped his arm, he slapped mine. i whacked him, and he whacked me. and on and on. once we got the the whacking part noah ran up on the bed and was barking squirming and had his ears down. his faced looked as if he was saying "aww, c'mon guys please stop, i love you both. dont hit each other, c'mon... pleeease"... licking our faces and whining. he takes his arms and tries to block us from hitting each other. he hates it when we do stuff like that, and always gets involved. our puppy (i can still call him that even though he is three) hates violence of any kind... even if we are just playfully wreastling. noah, my puppy, loves peace.

That's so cute. When I had my dog, he used to run away if my ex and I yelled - even if we were only yelling to be heard from one end of the apartment to the other. But if we started playfighting, the dog was always up with us - and the best part was that he would always growl and attack HIM even if *I* started it all. Heh.

I don't have a dog but i do know that at one time i did and he used to do the same type of thing. We also could get him to try and save me from the monster (my mom)... check me out at my new email Addie Mae...nogoodba@yahoo.com

the daily show...
did anyone happen to catch the daily show last night or the night before, i was half asleep, and i dont normally watch it, but it caught my eye for some reason... one night they pretented to have a panel of visitors, each one said anthrax or afganistan. jon kept asking for more info, they kept saying anthrax... it was just hilarous. and last night they took a map of that whole area over there and wrote united states in little kid handwriting. and one of one country and wrote new jersey on it... my sides were busting...
make love not war layout...
so howdy all. i hope you like my make love not war layout. arent those pictures pretty. one is kokoschka (the blueishone) the reddish one is chagall. and i dont know who created that statue, but i can tell you that it is in monacco.
make love not war
so this is a somewhat different color to my old layout. i thought i was going to do something completely different but i dont have the time right now... maybe in december, when i have tuesdays without school. which reminds me that the deadline for transfer students is december 1. i need to fill out the application tonight.
i might change the image at the top, but i do want to include those images.... i dont know what i am going to do yet. eh. thats good enough for now. i still havent completely decided on my musical soul mate... i asked eric and he said the doors. no questions no hesitations. see at first i immediately thought of janis, but then amy reminded me that she didnt write her own music. but then again i am a shitty. shitty writer. or at least i think i am. english was always my worst subject. however i guess people can change and my 12 grade/fresh.eng101/fresh.eng102 (all in one highschool class) shit head was a shithead. yeah i am talking to you mr. radl. you sucked. you are a fickle disgusting man who likes big dictums. 'i dont want to tell you what i want from you, you should figure it out.' those may not be the exact words he used. but i think you get the point. its called teaching. not making the students guess until they get it correct. i learned more a ten minute review with my professor for childrens literature. thankfully when i got to my second upper level english course the professor was fucking great. she let me rewrite the first paper after she had a meeting with me. i bet that only lasted about 15 minutes, and thats when i learned that there was a formula to writing papers and its not something that you just guess...
well i dont know where that rant came from. lets just say that my senior year in high school was shitty for the mere fact that because of mr radl's refusal to teach caused me to start college with a 2.0. and now i finally have worked myself up into the 3.something range. its difficult to bring your self up. if i hadnt had him i would have at least had a 3.5 or higher... eh but what the fuck does it matter.
now dont mind the look of the page that i will be linking to. but its cute, i was looking through the archives. now this is from blogger, so i cant update it with greymatter and blah whatever. nov. 29. 2000 it made me giggle.
musical soul mates?
amy has a cool idea, or thought or something or other that i need to take sometime to think about who is your musical soulmate?, she named a few artists and told us why they werent, and then explained her choice. i really want to think of mine, so i will need sometime. music is very important to me... hrmmm...
this weeks paper...
again i know you are all squriming with anticipation about the topic of this weeks paper for my modern art class. its quite groovey this time... magrittie's human condition its really a nifty surrealist piece, one of my favorites.
on an entirely different subject i was checking out ariel's site and she has recently went to one of her good friends weddings. the only reason that i mention this is because the bride is wearing the most original wedding dresses i've ever seen. kicks fucking ass.
holy fucking shit.
i saw kitties being born this evening. let me just say holy fucking shit.
neat seach engine topic: pepsico sculpture gardens neat. and 70s show font groovey. funky hippie wallpapers swell. ans what the fuck porno americans what the fuck? oh really abrupt subject change. fuck moveable type, thats my problem too. i am just pissy about that garbage.
this sounds fucking awesome man...
phil lesh in albany. i think that sounds like fun. i should look into it.
after work today we went to target to pick up a copy of tony hawk 3. and since i have been home, ive been looking for codes for the game. and right now i am guessing that its just too soon to find any of the cheat codes... so i have to be patient and keep my eyes open. wow talk about grooviness... i found some codes.
