Hot flashes at 23?

The heat in this house is just strange. I have hot flashes and at first I thought I was just plain nuts. Now I realize that the heat is odd. Firstly we don't have proper insulation but keeping the heat at 65 degrees keeps our house well heated. Now by well heated I mean hot when the heater is running, then nice just after it stops. Then some time goes by and you realize you are quite chilly and put a sweater on. Soon after you are flashing around in the sweater you hear the heater come on and realize that you are sweating! This cycle continues all night long while we are downstairs in the living room... And for some reason our bedroom is always hot!

Yep, I have hot flashes at 23.

Cookie Monster!

Nilda makes the best cookies! Mmm, Snickerdoodle! Today I finished shopping for my mother and Eric. Well, Eric is not completed yet, I still have to do up his stocking. I sort of freaked myself out today. I took money out of the bank and used all but $0.37 - isn't that just strange. I would have had a dollar more if I had not indulged in a cookie from the famous Nilda!

Ah, I can breathe once again.

Now that I am done with this semester I can breathe again. I am known for putting everything off and while I did do a few assignments ahead of time I mainly slacked until the last minute. And thanks Dad, for calling me to wish me luck last night. I was taking the test when you called.

Now I am free two days a week (not counting Sunday...) and I will be painting, cleaning and painting. I am going to go pick out colors today at a local hardware store. I also plan on taking the pooch for a ride and perhaps to a park to frolic in the snow. This relaxation time will be short lived; I go back to one class early January and the rest late January. Yes I do plan on taking a class every semester they offer. I am twenty three and where the hell is my degree?! No more play time. I need to graduate.

Any tips on how to remove a stubborn wallpaper border?

Today is Eric's birthday, hope you have a good one honey. Since we did just move into a house his gift will not be bought but created somehow by me after my finals today... (*update: I did purchase him something - hey I got a $100 bonus!)
