Random fun thoughts. I love my flip flops. Of course I need to get "work appropriate" shoes but right now I am making my flip flops. Happy Birthday Vincent Van Gogh. "L.H.O.O.Q.," a coarse French pun (When pronounced in French, "elle a chaud au cul", it means "She's got a hot ass"). 7 (of 10) paged paper near completion; won't ramble on for the extra three pages. Jeff showed me an awesome site and I want to try it! Sotheby's auction results - very interesting.

Ep! Happy Friday

Must. Go. To. Dia.

It's Friday and I volunteered to work Saturday - I'm a dumbass. But I will only be in the office for five hours which should not be so bad. And I will not get on the damn phones! I have been on the phones all freaking week! (well maybe just yesterday and probably today because there was no paper published and no one reads the paper to know that and they call to bitch that they didnt get a paper but it says it on top of the paper yesterday. Okay addie shut up!)

But anyway I am happy that it is almost the weekend. I don't mind working 9-5 on Fridays. I have a nice relaxing morning at home with coffee and puppies! I was going to jog today but I wanted to work on my paper. I started it somewhat. I have the images I want to use. Now I have to talk about them and quote some books about the artist. I wanted to use the artist's own book but Amazon sucks. Okay. Really shut up Addie and go take a shower.

So yesterday was my day off. Ha! My goal was to get at least half of the paper written. Ha! These dogs. My damn puppy! I did nothing yesterday. Nothing. NO-thing. Right now she keeps poking me with her nose. Ugh.

It's Spring Break!

Happy day after the Vernal Equinox!

So yes, it is spring break and I took one day off of work to celebrate. Well, celebrate and bang out at least five pages for my art paper.

Eric and I have been living alone together for over a year now and our house is still slowing becoming our house. I plan on painting the kitchen and living room this summer. I plan on getting new curtains for the living room. I plan on getting new curtain rods for the dining room. I want the kitchen to look "old world tuscony."

I want a lot, don't I? And if I have some spare time I would love to help Jesi with her Green Design.

Okay.

Eric made me realize that I over reacted just a little bit. But only just a little bit. She chewed on the paper tray. She also some how created a cartridge jam that is un-jammable. In my rage and fury I might have said that she ate the entire printer which isn't exactly true - yet.

Today is payday and I will be able to purchase rawhide for her to chew on. While I am at work she might just finish off the printer.

Oh! On a completely different note, I just wanted to jot this down should I forget it in the future. Just a few days ago I was on my way home from school and Eric was on his way home from work. Class ended early because the lab was easy. Eric called me and asked where I was - just a half a mile in front of him on 84. He caught up and followed me home. What are the odds that we both meet up on the same road coming from completely different directions? It is the silly things like that which make me smile.

This August.

The vibes are a go for 2005. Now I just have to wait for band line up and ticket pricing. Last year was the first time since I was 18 years old that I missed a vibes. Ireland or a concert, hmmmm.... let me think. This year I have no huge trips planned so I plan to get to the vibes once again.

Almost Friday!

I want to sleep. This entire weekend will consist of me sleeping. Oh, and going to see Dicky Betts, much thanks to Kathy. I need to make it to a museum before the end of the month to view some modern art (for extra credit in my mod art class). I really want to hit up the Moma because 1. I have never been there and 2. I want to see Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. I think that because of school and work consuming much of my time I may just run over to Beacon's DIA and go to the Moma this summer.

I must say that I am really glad it's Thursday. It has been a long week; and today at work was trying yet unnecessarily so.

Flashback!!

Or just check out this most excellent photo of Colleen and I as children dressed up for halloween wearing masks that we made ourselves which had nothing to do with our costume but fun nonetheless. March 1, 2001: right now i am filling out my application for new paltz but art history as a major? work as a teacher, in museums, what else can i do? i dont know... i do love the subject and for now i am sticking with it... but i want to also think about website design. its a passion of mine with all the codes and what not. and now that i have gotten something to work in my cgi-bin i am more excited than ever. i want to try new things. are there classes for stuff like that? there should be no? the class that i took at occc was boring. i already had figured out everything one my own. so in that class all i did was check email and surf the net. but i must admit that it was an easy A. so... i dont know what to do. maybe make and sell clothes online and become a webpage designer at the same time. i dont know... i am still young i guess i can figure that out later... i am getting so restless... maybe its the cold weather.

Update.

Alright. Here is the scoop. Last November Kathy was the wonderful woman who planned our trip to Ireland. She has been brewing up the next trip since the flight home from the green island. Moments ago Eric got off the phone with James (her husband) with details about the next desitination. Hawaii. August 2006. Eric and I plan on getting hitched on a beach in Hawaii in August 2006. Nothing is final yet. And of course we will be having a party upon our return and yes I will be wearing a pretty white dress.

What?!

Right now it is snowing. Right now there is about 8 inches of snow resting peacefully on my car. Right now my school opens at 11 am! What is so horrible about closing for just one day?! Make the spoiled rotten residents shovel the snow so the commuters can just take the day off... (And yes, I realize how bitter I sound.)
