A Long Weekend....

Cleo in the mountains...
On another note it is just tooo muggy and I feel so horrible leaving my dogs at home in the heat. I picked up another a/c for downstairs. Now our house is going to be nice and cool - too bad my electric bill is going to be outrageous!

Times flies in the heat...
Goodness, we have had a long period of muggyness. I don't mind warm weather, in fact I love it, but the humidity is horrid. Hell, I don't know anyone that enjoys humid days... Let me recap the last few days. I went to an awesome bachellor(ette) party and was brave enough to go to the adult store alone for the first time ever - to get some silly props.The next day we took the dogs to the mountains. Cleo has never been anywhere too far from the house. I am happy that we finally took her to have some fun... She was a bit afraid to go swimming but did venture half way in to the little river near the beautiful Stoney Kill Falls.
Yesterday I recieved a coupon in the mail for Ikea. Now I really need to get my butt down there as I have already ripped the cabinets off the walls. My kitchen is half demolished - the floors need to be redone. Gah! The humidity prevents me from doing any thing.

A revived love.
I love plants but my house is lacking because Cleo used to eat them. Now I have just a few and hide them in places she cant reach. I bought a basil plant for $4 and it is now thriving on my back deck. Yippie! I think I want to start an herb garden. I love to cook and love to "gourmet" it up with some fresh herbs! I love cheese.
I have found a new favorite thing. Cottage Cheese! That stuff has always grossed me out however I sampled from a co-worker a few days a go with a piece of fruit. Yum! Wowie! The stuff alone is okay but wowza with the yummy sweetness of fruit! I need to go buy some more because the two I bought are gone!July 05, 2005
Stupid phones.
After over a year of living here I will have a landline activated on Friday. Yep. $20 a month with no frills. If you call me you just might here a busy signal. I will most likely not answer the call and let the machine get it. If I want to talk I will answer mid-message. Yep. Now I need to get a phone and an answering machine...July 04, 2005
A new phone...
I am going to ride over to the Mount to pick up my certificate for Phi Alpha Theta. Yep. History Dork.On another more realistic note I hope I can get a new phone. I will keep the same number but Sprint is no longer offering service that accomodates my needs. I need to activate a land line in my home. I have lived here for a year and a half and I now need a landline. Crazy. Anyway... can anyone give me any advice about Nextel?

Cell phones suck!
Eric smashed his cell. Mine is filled with tartar sauce. I hate cell phones. My mother and I searched all over for new ones today. We did speak with one guy who is selling used cell phones out of his home. (He has a sprint store in sams club...) Tonight we are going to go check out his used stock. I do feel a little odd going to the guys house but we cannot afford $200 for a new sprint phone. They are great to new customers but to existing ones they sort of screw the shit out of you.It is a beautiful day and Jesi redesigned her site and now I really want to do the same. But. It is really beautiful outside....
